Abstract:
To produce a method of producing hydrogen from biomass with high efficiency.
The method of producing hydrogen from biomass comprises: a first stage (i) wherein biomass is gasified to produce a gaseous mixture comprising hydrocarbon, hydrogen and carbon monoxide; a second stage (ii) wherein the gaseous mixture obtained in the first stage is refined; a third stage (iii) wherein the hydrocarbon included in the gaseous mixture obtained in the second stage is converted into hydrogen and carbon monoxide; and a fourth stage (iv) wherein hydrogen is recovered from the gaseous mixture obtained in the third stage.
