PURPOSE: To easily produce a beautiful inorganic porous material by molding and firing composite granules producted by densely and thickly bonding the powder of an inorganic material on the outer peripheries of hard aggregates, and to produce a relatively thick water-permeable composite board suitable as a paving material, etc., by using the inorganic porous material having a relatively small coating layer thickness.
CONSTITUTION: A hard aggregate, powder of an inorganic material having a particle diameter of ≤1/20 times the granule diameter of the hard aggregate, and water are fed into a high speed rotation blade granulating machine to produce composite granules in which the inorganic material powder is densely bonded to the outer peripheries of the hard aggregate in a layer thickness ratio of ≥30%. The produced composite granules are press-molded so as to leave gaps between the composite granules, and subsequently fired to produce the inorganic porous material. Concretes 2, 3 are applied to the back surface of the inorganic porous material 1 and subsequently integrally cured to provide the water-permeable composite board 10.
