Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a compound useful as an intermediate for synthesizing a precursor of a substituted benzopyran compound so as to synthesize the substituted benzopyran compound with a few steps.
SOLUTION: The method for producing a compound represented by structural formula (IV) [wherein, Z is R6O; and R6 is a 1-6C alkyl, a (substituted) phenyl or a (substituted) phenyl 1-6C alkyl] comprises reacting tetrazole-5-carboxylic acid disodium salt with a proper alkyl haloformate, aryl haloformate or arylalkyl haloformate.
