PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a ketimine compound of 2-amino-ethyl methacrylate in high yield.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a ketimine compound of 2-amino-ethyl methacrylate in which, in a step of reacting a ketimine compound of 2-amino-ethanol and methacrylic acid ester to produce a ketimine compound of 2-amino-ethyl (meth)acrylate represented by formula (3) or formula (4), the water concentration in the reaction raw material liquid is controlled to a predetermined value or less.
