Abstract:
To provide a method of producing -caprolactam from cyclohexanone oxime using a low cost catalyst, a low cost solvent, and a low cost and useful additives.
The liquid phase rearrangement of cyclohexanone oxime is carried out using tri-substituted triazine comprising at least two electron attracting substituents, as a rearrangement catalyst in the presence of a 8-12C oxime compound.
