PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing powder which can be used as a material from powder used during laminate shaping.SOLUTION: A method includes: a classification step (S12) with a sieving screen, of classifying powder (20) remaining after fabricating a three-dimensionally shaped article, by using the sieving screen; a classification step (S13) with air current, of classifying powder (40) remaining in the sieving screen in the classification step with a sieving screen into fine-particle powder and coarse particle powder, with the air current; and a mixing step (S14) for mixing the fine particles with powder (30) having passed through the sieving screen in the classification step with a sieving screen, and new powder (10).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
