The method for producing the leather sheet-like product mainly composed of a fiber substrate having ultrafine fiber and a polyurethane resin comprises three steps comprising (1) a step for producing the fiber substrate by using an ultrafine fiber-developing type conjugate fiber developing the ultrafine fiber, (2) a step for applying a compound containing a carbodiimide group to the fiber substrate or sheet after developing the ultrafine fiber and (3) a step for applying the polyurethane resin to the fiber substrate.
