Abstract:
To provide a method of inspecting a lubricating oil composition, which can stably reproduce wear resistance characteristics, even of a fullerene-contaianing lubricating oil composition, by using a method that is relatively easy to measure, and a method for producing a lubricating oil composition.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of inspecting a lubricating oil composition, in which a dynamic surface tension (Σ) of a lubricating oil composition containing a base oil and fullerene are measured, and a lubricating oil composition is selected on the basis of a predetermined range set by a correlation between measured values of the dynamic surface tensions (Σ) and measured values of wear coefficients of the lubricating oil composition.SELECTED DRAWING: None
