Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a metal-carbon particle composite material with reduced anisotropy of heat properties (e.g., thermal conductivity, linear expansion coefficient).SOLUTION: A method for producing a metal-carbon particle composite material includes the steps of: applying coating liquid containing carbon particles to a coating target surface of metal foil, to obtain coated foil with a carbon particle layer formed on the coating target surface of the metal foil; cutting the coated foil to obtain a plurality of cut small pieces 13; filling the plurality of cut small pieces 13 into a mold 16; and sintering the plurality of cut small pieces 13 filled into the mold 16 for sintering them.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
