Abstract:

To provide a metal catalyst having high efficiency.

The method comprises: a metal complex-forming process of synthesizing a hydrazone metal complex or a hydrazone polymer metal complex by mixing a hydrazone compound represented by general formula (1), where Py is a 2-pyridyl group, a 3-pyridyl group, or a 4-pyridyl group, or a hydrazone polymer compound derived from the hydrazone compound with a metal compound; and a high temperature treatment process of subjecting the hydrazone metal complex and the hydrazone polymer metal complex to a high temperature.
