Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a metal porous body that is formed of a compact skeleton with relatively less pin holes and the like, wherein the mixture of impurities such as a nitride is suppressed and the occurrence of embrittlement is prevented.SOLUTION: With a flat plate formed from a resin skeleton of three-dimensional network shape as a substrate, a conductive layer is formed on the surface of the resin skeleton, and then, the flat plate is thermally brought into contact with a drum cooled with a coolant, to form a metal film on the conductive layer by direct-current sputtering method. After the metal film formation step, the resin skeleton is removed by heating to produce a metal porous body.
