Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing metal powder by which the growth of ceramic particles is not promoted, further, the sintering of metal powder at low temperature is suppressed, sintering starting temperature is shifted to the side of high temperature, and moreover, rapid sintering shrinkage is suppressed, and to produce metal powder.
SOLUTION: As to the method for producing metal powder in this invention, a mixture composed of caustic alkali, hydrazine and/or hydrazine hydrate, a rare earth metallic salt, an electrically conductive metallic salt and a main solvent is prepared, the hydroxide of rare earth metal is precipitated, and further, the metal in the electrically conductive metal salt is reduced. The metal powder in this invention is obtained by the method for producing metal powder in this invention.
