In the method for producing (meth)acrolein or (meth)acrylic acid by a process for successively arranging an oxidation reaction process for subjecting raw material gas to vapor-phase catalytic oxidation, a reaction gas cooling process for cooling the obtained reaction gas, a low-boiling component separation processes for separating a low-boiling component from the reaction product, a purification process for separating and removing a high-boiling component from the reaction product and a high-boiling component decomposition process for decomposing the high-boiling component in the bottoms in the purification process, the low-boiling component separation process has a plurality of separation apparatus arranged in parallel and simultaneously operated.
