Title:
METHOD OF PRODUCING MICROMOTOR ROTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6084951
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
The body 1 which consists of magnetic material and is formed from a powder which is solidified by agglomeration under pressure, is surrounded by a hollow jacket 2 and is permanently connected thereto. The agglomeration of the powder 1 and its solidification take place in the hollow jacket 2 itself, which is originally a solid part which can absorb the agglomeration pressures. The powder 1, which is located in this hollow part, is previously subjected to a magnetic field in order to give its particles a pre-orientation. In the case of circular rotors, the direction of the magnetic field is marked on the edge of the hollow part, as a result of which the final magnetisation is simplified, which must, of course, be precisely parallel to the direction of the pre-orientation. In the case of non-circular rotors, the shape of the rotor itself indicates what the direction of the pre-orientation and the magnetisation is. The solid hollow part is machined, for example by turning, in order to take on the final shape of the jacket 2.
