Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a microparticle that is safe for human bodies, and enhances ultraviolet proofing performance.
This method includes: a cellulose solution-forming step in which the cellulose is dissolved in a solvent to form a cellulose solution; and a microparticle forming step in which, using the cellulose solution, microparticles are formed from the cellulose contained in the cellulose solution. In the cellulose solution-forming step, β-1,4-glucan as the cellulose is dissolved in a solvent obtained by mixing NaOH, urea and thiourea to form the cellulose solution having viscosity in a range of 80-200 MPa s.
