Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing mixed salts from waste in a gasification modification process which can produce the mixed salts satisfying the desired quality of the raw material for a caustic soda industry.
SOLUTION: Quenching and acid cleaning wastewater together with alkali cleaning wastewater are recovered in a series of processes of generating a refining synthetic gas by gas-reforming at 1,000°C or higher after gasification by thermal decomposition of waste, quenching, cleaning by an acid 212, cleaning by an alkali 214 and further refining 216. When the mixed salts 624 are produced by treating raw water for producing salts 242 consisting of removing metals and silica through a pre-concentration process 300 → an alkali addition process 400 → a concentrated salt water heating and concentration process 500 → a vaporization and crystallization process 600 → a condensation and liquefaction process 700, supply of the concentrated salt water from the concentrated salt water heating and concentration process to the vaporization and crystallization process, and draw out of slurry 616 containing a crystallized material generated by the vaporization and crystallization are carried out by a continuous feed plus a batch operation.
