PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a new method for synthesizing N-(4-cyclohexyl-3-trifluoromethyl-benzyloxy)-acetimidic acid ethyl ester; and an intermediate used in such a method.SOLUTION: There are provided: N-(4-cyclohexyl-3-trifluoromethyl-benzyloxy)-acetimidic acid ethyl ester represented by the formula (1); and an intermediate for producing the same, for example, 1-cyclohexa-1-enyl-2-trifluoromethyl-benzene, 4-bromo-1-cyclohexyl-2-trifluoromethyl-benzene, 4-cyclohexyl-3-trifluoromethyl-benzoic acid or the like.SELECTED DRAWING: None
