To provide a new method for producing a nano fiber structural material, capable of preparing the nano fiber structural material by arranging nano fibers consisting of a thermoplastic polymer on a supporting body as a desired mesh like form.
This method for producing the nano fiber structural material is characterized by attaching nano fiber dispersion obtained by dispersing the nano fibers consisting of a thermoplastic polymer and having 1-500 nm number-average diameter in a dispersion medium, on a supporting material, and then removing the dispersion medium. Also, the method for producing the nano fiber structural material is characterized by papermaking by using the nano fiber dispersion obtained by dispersing the nano fibers consisting of a thermoplastic polymer and having 1-500 nm number-average diameter in the dispersion medium, as the dispersion and a porous supporting material as a substrate.
