Abstract:

To provide a method for producing an FePd/Fe nanocomposite magnet that changes composition so that ratios of hard and soft magnetic phases may be changed in various ways, and the FePd/Fe nanocomposite magnet produced by the method.

There is provided a method for producing an FePd/Fe nanocomposite magnet that uses FePd as a core and Fe as a shell, comprising: a process 1 to produce Pd/Fe2O3nanocomposite particles using a Pd nano particle as a core and an Fe2O3particle as a shell, a process 2 to produce Pd-impregnated Fe2O3/Pd nanocomposite particles by adding Pd to the Fe2O3/Pd nanocomposite particles while protecting the Pd nanoparticle with a surfactant, and a process 3 of hydrogen reduction treatment to heat the Pd-impregnated Fe2O3/Pd nanocomposite particles in hydrogen atmosphere.
