Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of nickel aqueous solution capable of reducing a nickel loss while efficiently removing iron.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of nickel aqueous solution includes: an iron removing process of removing iron included in coarse nickel aqueous solution as a precipitate by an oxidation neutralization reaction; an exchange stage of making nickel contact with an acidic extraction agent supporting iron-removal final solution after the iron removing process to substitute the iron in the iron-removal final solution with the nickel in the acidic extraction agent so as to obtain high purity nickel aqueous solution; and a back extraction stage of making the acidic extraction agent contact with back extraction solution after the exchange stage to back-extract the iron supported by the acidic extraction agent. In the iron removing process, the coarse nickel aqueous solution is prepared to have a pH of 4.0 to 5.2, inclusive. In the back extraction stage, the back extraction solution is prepared to have a normality of the acid of 1.6 N or higher.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
