Abstract:
To provide a method for adding a component for hydrogenation to a non-zeolite molecular sieve (NZMS) in order to produce a catalyst material having higher activity for catalytic conversion than similar catalyst materials produced by conventional methods.
An improved method is provided to add the component for hydrogenation to the particles of a non-zeolite molecular sieve catalyst keeping a loss of pore volume to a minimum. The method includes adding an activity source for the component for hydrogenation dissolved in a nonaqueous solvent.
