Abstract:

To provide a method for producing a nubuck-like artificial leather having dense feather feel and very fine wrinkle feel.

When an artificial leather base including a macromolecular elastomer (a1) on the inside of ultra fine fiber-entangled nonwoven fabric is finished into a nubuck-like artificial leather, at least following steps (i), (ii), and (iii) are carried out in order, wherein (i) the step where at least one face is subjected to the raising treatment to form the raised face; (ii) the step where a macromolecular elastic body (a2) is applied to the raised face; (iii) the step where the face to which the macromolecular elastomer (a2) is given is further raised.
