Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing α-olefin that has excellent yield of 6-12C α-olefin and is also excellent in fraction amount with respect to production of α-olefin with ethylene as raw material.SOLUTION: A method of producing α-olefin is characterized by polymerization of ethylene using catalyst comprising (a) specific zirconium compound and (b) halogen-containing aluminum compound.
