Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an optical element having higher productivity, and a method for producing an optical element with a large effective diameter.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing an optical element having: a step where a curable composition is semi-cured to obtain a semi-cured matter; and a step where the semi-cured matter is further cured. The step of obtaining a semi-cured matter being a step where a curable composition is filled onto a die, and the curable composition is heated, or the curable composition is irradiated with active energy rays to obtain a semi-cured matter, and the step of further curing the semi-cured matter is the one where the semi-cured matter is contacted with a transparent base material, and the semi-cured matter is irradiated with active energy rays from the transparent base material side.
