Abstract:

To provide a method for carrying out the optical resolution of an enaminone derivative without unstabilize the structure because the optical resolution of the enaminone derivative by an optically active acid has hardly been reported and sufficient study has been not carried out.

This method for producing the optically active cyclic enaminone derivative is characterized in that one carbonyl group of the diketone of a cyclic 1,3-diketone derivative having a symmetry plane is aminated to provide a chiral cyclic enaminone derivative, and subjecting the resultant mixture of optical isomers of the cyclic enaminone derivative to the optical resolution to provide the objective optically active enaminone derivative.
