Abstract:
To provide a method for producing an oxime in high yield by ammoximation reaction of a ketone, an organic peroxide and ammonia.
An oxime is produced by ammoximation reaction of a ketone, an organic peroxide and ammonia in the presence of a smectite containing titanium. The titanium-containing smectite is preferably a titanium-containing montmorillonite. The organic peroxide is preferably a hydroperoxide, and the ketone is preferably a cycloalkanone.
