Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method capable of stably, continuously producing an oxymethylene copolymer at a high yield and having a high molecular weight by a melt polymerization method.SOLUTION: A polymerization reaction raw material liquid obtained by mixing a mixed raw material liquid of trioxane and a co-monomer and a polymerization initiator at 135 to 300°C is circulated through the inside of a piping at a linear speed of 0.1 mm or more and is introduced into a static mixer type polymerization machine having no driving part provided with a stationary mixing element at the inside, and the time till the polymerization reaction raw material liquid is introduced into the polymerization machine after its contact and mixing with the liquid including the mixing raw material liquid and the polymerization initiator is controlled to 0.01 to 120 s.SELECTED DRAWING: None
