This method for producing the packaged purple Ipe tea beverage comprises the following process: extracting essence from tree bark of purple Ipe (formal nomenclature: aberanedae species belonging to the genus Tabebuia) with hot water; adding sodium bicarbonate to the essence to obtain extraction liquid; removing opacity and precipitation from the liquid through a solid-liquid separation process; adding pure water, an antioxidant, a pH adjuster, and the like, to blend them; sterilizing and cooling the blended liquid followed by subjecting the liquid to aseptic packaging.
