To provide a method for producing paper-producing pulp, by which the good pulp can be obtained in simple processes without applying a chemical treatment.

This method for producing the paper-producing pulp, characterized by comprising a process for cutting a raw material in a constant length to produce chips, a process for mixing the chipped raw material with a microorganism to ferment the raw material, a process for grinding the fermented chips together with water to produce the pulp, and a process for washing the obtained pulp with water. It is preferable to use a white decay fungus as the microorganism. The raw material is especially not limited, but, for example, kenaf which is not a wood may be used. It is preferable to use warm water as the water on the grinding treatment.
