Abstract:
To provide a method improved in dewatering and yield and for producing paper having improved dry strength.
The method for producing paper from a suspension containing cellulose fiber and an optional filler comprises adding a dewatering and retention aid containing cationic or amphoteric polysaccharides and forming and dewatering the suspension on a wire, wherein the cationic polysaccharides has a hydrophobic group, and the method for producing paper from a suspension containing the cellulose fiber and an optional filler comprises adding a dry strength improver containing cationic or amphoteric polysaccharides and forming and dewatering the suspension on a wire, wherein the cationic polysaccharides has a hydrophobic group.
