Title:
METHOD FOR PRODUCING PAPERBOARD FROM HIGH-CONSISTENCY SLURRY CONTAINING CROSSLINKED CELLULOSE FIBER IN HIGH LEVEL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006188809
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method for producing a paperboard from a high-consistency slurry containing a large amount of crosslinked cellulose fibers liable to cause the clogging of a screen.

The method for producing a paperboard from a high-consistency slurry containing crosslinked cellulose fibers in high level comprises the dispersion of the fibers in a screen by a rotor in the screen, passing of the fibers through the screen having a hole diameter of ≥2 mm and the forming of the cellulose fibers on a porous substrate. Another kind of slurry of ordinary cellulose fiber is applied to at least one surface of the 1st slurry in the forming stage and the formed web is dehydrated and dried to obtain the paperboard.
