Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple production method of a patient-specific bracket body and, preferably, a patient-specific bracket including the bracket body.SOLUTION: The method for producing a patient-specific bracket body includes the steps of: a) preparing semifinished-product bracket body 9 having a spacer section 9d; b) determining a first parameter for cutting through the spacer section, a distance from a resulting cut surface of the spacer section to a slot 11, in order to determine a suitable height of the bracket body; c) determining a second parameter for cutting through the spacer section 9d, a cutting angle to a mesio-distal axis, in order to determine a suitable torque value of the bracket body; d) determining a third parameter for cutting through the spacer section, a cutting angle to an occlusal-gingival axis, in order to determine a suitable rotation value of the bracket body; and e) cutting through the spacer section according to the three determined parameters, whereby a bracket body is produced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
