Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that produces a perovskite composite oxide having a particulate form without performing calcination.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method for producing a perovskite composite oxide. In the method, a raw material aqueous solution containing a metal ion raw material with pH of 5 to 11.5 is heated at a temperature of 425°C to 650°C while pressurized at a pressure of 22 MPa to 60 MPa to place the solution at a supercritical state. The raw material aqueous solution at this state undergoes a hydrothermal treatment. As a result, a perovskite composite oxide is produced which is represented by the chemical formula ABO, where the A site includes La, the B site includes at least one kind of ion selected from the group consisting of Fe, Al, Mn, Ni, Co, Pd, Pt, Sc, Ti, Nb, Ta, W and Mo. The raw material aqueous solution preferably has pH of 6 to 11. The reaction preferably includes a reaction intermediate which is lanthanum oxyhydroxide (LaOOH).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
