Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a planographic printing plate in which a waste leaching solution is easily treated.
The planographic printing plate is produced by successively carrying out a step for bringing a planographic printing original plate with a planographic printing material layer comprising hydrophobic fine particles each having a crosslinkable surface on a hydrophilic substrate into an imagewise crosslinking reaction to chemically bond the hydrophobic fine particles to one another, and a step for removing the chemically unbonded hydrophobic fine particles to form a hydrophilic region comprising the exposed substrate surface and a hydrophobic region comprising the chemically bonded hydrophobic fine particles.
