Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing polycarbonate resin, wherein separability between an organic phase and an aqueous phase in a cleaning step after polymerization is improved, and polycarbonate resin is efficiently produced.SOLUTION: A method of producing polycarbonate resin uses a terminating agent comprising 3-pentadecylphenol obtained from natural products and having a purity of 97.5 mass% or more.
