Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a polyhydroxyalkanoate.
This method for producing the polyhydroxyalkanoate containing in the polymeric molecule at least unit(s) bearing residue(s) on the side chain comprises culturing a microorganism having the ability to produce the polyhydroxyalkanoate in a medium under the oxygen feed condition of being 200-600 h-1 in overall oxygen transfer capacity coefficient(KLa).
