PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing a nonconventional polylactic acid fiber having excellent heat resistance and qualities.
SOLUTION: The method for producing the polylactic acid fiber having excellent heat resistance comprises subjecting a blend of a poly(L-lactic acid) and a poly(D-lactic acid) to melt spinning and forming a stereocomplex on the spinning line of a yarn.
