To provide a method for producing profile members and it's apparatus which is able to produce easily profile members having different shape cross- sections in the height direction.

In the method for producing profile members having different shape cross-sections formed in the height direction, hooplike elongated processed material is passed on in the longitudinal direction, and in plural stages, plural kinds of constituted members which have outlines corresponding to each cross- section shape of the profile members, are formed by non-separable indentation process so that at least a part of those outlines is latched to the processed material. In the final passed on stage of the processed material, the constituted members are sequentially stamped out with a die to make them laminate in one.
