To provide a polypropylene material having extremely improved impact resistance, and further improved graininess caused by short-cut particles to solve the problems such as defective appearance caused by gel in a molded product without damaging original properties such as high rigidity.
The method for continuously producing a propylene-α-olefin copolymer comprises producing a homopolymer of the propylene or a copolymer of the propylene and other α-olefins in the presence of a metallocene catalyst at the first step, and copolymerizing the propylene and other α-olefins in the second step. A specific organic compound provided by the following conditions is added at the copolymerization at the second step: condition (I) having no active hydrogen and having a polar group; and (II) added mols of the specific organic compound are >0 and ≤3 per mol of a transition metal atom.
