Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a pulp molded product washable during a production process and improving the production efficiency.
SOLUTION: This method for producing the pulp molded product comprises steps of assembling split molds 10 and 11 respectively having a suction passage and a papermaking net 5, providing a papermaking mold 1, filling a pulp slurry in a cavity C of the resultant papermaking mold 1, then discharging a liquid component in the pulp slurry through the suction passages, depositing pulp fibers on the inner surface of the papermaking nets 5, forming an undried molded product in a wet state and subsequently draining the undried molded product deposited on the inner surface of the papermaking nets 5. Many flow passages 2 for feeding a purging fluid for washing the papermaking nets 5 are provided in the split molds 10 and 11 and the purging fluid is sprayed from the outer surface side of the papermaking nets 5 through the flow passages 2 toward the interior of the cavity C during the filling of the pulp slurry.
