Abstract:
To provide a method for producing pulp, by which processes can be simplified and treatments of a waste liquid can be reduced.
This method for producing the pulp comprises steps of charging wood chips 1 in a chemical liquid 3 containing at least a basic substance and an aluminum compound, adding and heating a silicon compound to the chemical liquid 3 to synthesize zeolite 4, when the wood chips 1 are digested, and thus producing the pulp to which the zeolite 4 is fixed.
