Abstract:
To provide a production method of a rubber composition for a tire capable of improving flex-crack resistance while suppressing degradation of abrasion resistance and having low fuel consumption, wet grip performance, abrasion resistance, and flex-crack resistance in a good balance.SOLUTION: A production method of a rubber composition for a tire includes: a first non-pro-milling process for adding 50 mass% or more of a blending amount of an inorganic filler to a rubber component followed by mixing; a second non-pro-milling process for adding a thermoplastic elastomer having a functional group that reacts or interacts with a surface functional group of the inorganic filler and having a specific gravity of 1.00 or less to a mixture obtained in the first non-pro-milling process followed by mixing; and a pro-milling process for adding a vulcanizing ingredient to a mixture obtained in the second non-pro-milling process followed by mixing.SELECTED DRAWING: None
