Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a rubber-metal composite excellent in initial adhesion between rubber and a metal material, moist heat-resistant adhesion and adhesion durability, a rubber-metal composite produced by the method for producing the rubber-metal composite, a tire and a rubber bearing body for base isolation comprising the rubber-metal composite, and an industrial belt and a crawler to which the rubber-metal composite is applied.
A method for producing a rubber-metal composite comprises steps of: bringing a metal material into contact with a buffer solution having a pH of 5 or more and 7.2 or less; and adhering the contacted metal material to rubber.
