Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a sintered component that has high safety, can improve the machinability of a sintered body, and can increase a tool life.SOLUTION: A method for producing a sintered component has an impregnation step and a processing step. In the impregnation step, a sintered body having a pore is impregnated with oil that contains at least one base oil selected from mineral oil and synthetic oil and has a kinematic viscosity at 40°C of 5 mm/s or more and 68 mm/s or less. In the processing step, the sintered body impregnated with the oil is machined with water-soluble process liquid or dry air fed to a processing point.SELECTED DRAWING: None
