Abstract:

To provide a method of producing a sintered member using injection molding for remarkably suppressing occurrence of a cavity, i.e. pore, macropore, in a complex shaped sintered member.

In the method of producing the sintered member, a shaped body is molded by injection molding using raw material powder composed of a sintered hard alloy, cermet, and bonding material, as injection molding raw material, and the shaped body is sintered. Mixture slurry is produced by simultaneously carrying out wet grinding of the raw material powder with a binder in a solution of alcohol or water, uniform fine granules are prepared by carrying out spray drying of the mixture slurry, and the uniform fine granules are used as the injection molding raw material.
