Title:
METHOD FOR PRODUCING SINTERED ORE CONTAINING CARBON
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001262241
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To produce a sintered ore containing carbon excellent in the reducibility in a blast furnace with which the reduction of fuel ratio and the drastic improvement of pig iron tapping ratio in a blast furnace, are realized.

Granular carbon source composed of one or more kinds among coke grain, anthracite grain and fuel grain containing ≥30 mass% carbon and having 1-15 mm average grain diameter, and a binder composed of one or more kinds among limemilk, lime water, lime, slaked lime and inoganic or organic binder, are premixed or mixed and granulated or formed to form a non-combustible lumpy carbon source covered with the binder on its surface layer part. Thereafter, this non-combustible lumpy carbon source is added into a sintering raw material before mixing, and after mixing and granulating, the granular product is charged into a sintering machine and sintered.
