Abstract:

To provide a method for producing sintered ore where sintered ore in which the increase of the contents of components forming blast furnace slag is reduced, and having excellent cold shatter index, can be produced at high productivity.

In the method for producing sintered ore where blending raw materials composed of a ferrous raw material such as powder iron ore, an auxiliary raw material, a carbonaceous material or the like are fed to a sintering machine, the carbonaceous material is burnt, so as to melt at least a part of the ferrous raw material, is thereafter cooled, and is agglomerated, so as to obtain sintered ore, a sintering raw material admixed with amphibolite is used. It is preferable that the amount of the amphibolite to be added in the sintering raw material is 0.3 mass% and the grain size of the amphibolite is 0.5 mm.
