Abstract:

To provide a method for producing a polymer by using a metallocene catalyst causing no influence on the catalyst activity even when it is added before the polymerization, on the polymerization under a favorable control of the molecular weight distribution and stereoregularity with the metallocene catalyst, and providing the polymer excellent in color tone and stability.

When monomers having ethylenically unsaturated bonds are polymerized with a metallocene catalyst comprising a transition metal, one or more kinds of stabilizers are mixed with an organic aluminum in advance, then added to the catalyst system or the polymerization system before the polymerization, thereby being produced a stabilized polymer.
