Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a sulfate of a hydroxy compound capable of easily producing a sulfate without using special reagents, equipment or reaction conditions and suppressing the decomposition of the hydroxy compound compared with prior art.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a sulfate compound, in which a substance having a hydroxyl group (for example, alcohols (monohydroxy alcohol, polyhydric alcohol), alcohols having ether bonds, alcohols having a functional group such as amino groups, saccharides, estrogens, and the like) are added to a sulfuric acid esterification reaction solution containing dimethyl sulfoxide, carboxylic anhydride and sulfuric acid to perform a sulfuric acid esterification reaction.SELECTED DRAWING: None
