Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a sulfuric acid solution by which a metal is efficiently dissolved at a high anode current density while suppressing passivation.SOLUTION: A method for producing a sulfuric acid solution comprises an initial electrolytic solution supply step of supplying a sulfuric acid solution as an initial electrolytic solution to an electrolytic cell 10 in which the inside of the cell is divided into an anode chamber 21 and a cathode chamber 22 by a diaphragm, and an electrolytic solution take-out step of supplying a current to an anode side electrode 13 and a cathode side electrode 14 provided in the electrolytic cell 10 and taking out, from the anode chamber 21, a metal dissolved electrolytic solution in which a metal constituting the anode side electrode 13 is dissolved. The direction in which the supplied current periodically flows is reversed. By this constitution, the movement of the metal dissolved on the anode side electrode 13 side to the cathode side electrode 14 side can be suppressed, and the passivation on the anode side electrode 13 side can be suppressed, so that a high-quality sulfuric acid solution in which the metal is dissolved can be efficiently produced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
